This firm is beyond awful!!
As a paying customer I feel entitled to at least a modicum of customer service and in lieu of that to at least receive the service that I had paid for when it was ready.
The property deed that I had paid for was, after weeks of costly delays, finally executed and ready to be sent to me.
On the day that it had been promised I was informed that they had "become tied up with other matters" and had so not posted the deed"
er…... OK so my £385000 property sale is less important than "other matters" so how did they manage the time to prepare and send me their invoice for £420, which DID arrive?
The deed eventually arrived - 24 hours too late to be signed by me and my sister who had travelled hundreds of miles to sign it.
Anyone with property conveyancing or title needs should give this band of clowns a very wide berth indeed!
The problem with average lawyers is that their revenue is boosted by their incompetence. Blackstone cannot even manage PDF files. Emma Nawaz promised a 'result' with a capped quote £22,000 to end of hearings & a senior lawyer but 'challenged' juniors (trainee solicitors & trainee 'challenged' receptionist) were assigned. They missed legislation that would have saved me 4 months for a commercial eviction. Increased costs by £7,500 over & above their quote with a 14 day deadline to seek counsel advice. Nawaz clearly, dangerously skim reads: unbelievably, she reversed the intention of my private settlement offer. I was repeatedly badly advised resulting in no result, lost rent arrears recovery & other substantial financial loss. Repeatedly unaware & dishonest about their mistakes. They never answer any questions so a strategy cannot be formed by myself [client]. Discourteous, dismissive telephone manner including laughing & ridicule at me, their client. Just another overpriced mickey mouse lawyer service: easy choice to avoid.
